Tripura’s CM Biplab Kumar Deb submits resignation

Own report: Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb resigns as Tripura Chief Minister. He has already submitted his resignation letter to the governor. The BJP may announce the name of the new chief minister on Saturday.

On Friday, Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah. According to sources, he was asked to resign. He then submitted his resignation letter to the governor on Saturday afternoon.
